After what has been a challenging 18 months for all businesses, West Midland Reserve Forces & Cadets Association (RFCA) have announced Signal Traffic Management as one of 41 organisations in their region confirmed as Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) Silver Award winners for 2021.
The silver status requires employers to ensure:
That members of the forces community are not disadvantaged in their recruitment and selection process
That all positive policies relating to defence personnel are internally publicised
That they employ at least one individual from the armed forces category that their nomination emphasises
If required, that they have demonstrated support to Reservist mobilisations
That they align their values with their Armed Forces Covenant
“We are incredibly proud of this achievement and as a growing SME we constantly strive to push the bar on delivering cost-effective, sustainable solutions for our customers. As an ex-serviceman my support for the Armed Forces community is heartfelt; this award serves to highlight our ingrained commitment to Social Value and the communities we serve” - Matthew Eaton - Managing Director
Commenting on the announcement of the ERS Silver Awards 2021, Leo Docherty MP, Minister for Defence People and Veterans said,
“I would like to thank all the organisations who have proven their support for the Defence community during such unprecedented and challenging times.
